Honestly, I've never thought red was my color. In fact, I wrote an entire post (catch up here) on my color palette & it didn't include red. Well, somewhere along the lines I decided to start buying red items & here I am with closet full of red clothes. I don't even know what has come over me because I always sort of hated red fashion items (excluding lips, nails & louboutin bottoms) and all of a sudden I am seriously crushing on everything that shade.
In regard to color palettes, there is always that exception like having a few statement pieces. So, I have stuck to my original selection of deep wine, dark navy blue, dark green, black & grey & now I've slowly incorporated red as we move into Spring.
Although I wear black everything, I'll gradually start a new color palette as the weather changes. I haven't decided exactly what it's going to be yet but so far, red is in the mix!
