As you know, Sergio (my boyfriend) and I just got back from a wedding in Rhode Island. We had an amazing time celebrating the marriage of our dear friends. A weekend out of the city gets my fashion inspiration flowing like crazy. I dress edgy chic when I am running the streets of NYC but I was excited to explore one of my other fashion personas.
I am not sure I can properly identify with one specific style, it's very situational for me.
I am loving everything off the shoulder, specifically, off the shoulder tops. I am not a big dress person, unless there is an occasion that I need to wear a dress.
Anyway, off the shoulder trend is a great way to show off your summer glow and a fun way to play with your own style.
I paired my top with a cute pair of super high waisted linen trousers... you know, those pants that every girl loves but every guy hates because they see you as an androgynous Mister Rogers? I don't dress for anyone, not even Sergio... he wanted to burn the pants, haha! I loved them though!
Anyway, I also pair tops like this with high waisted denim or a maxi skirt for a flirty brunch vibe.
A complimenting mini or midi skirt can also work as a nice look for summer weddings. This top with a nude or black midi skirt would be killer.
